Humans have also affected nature by introducing non-native species to local areas and producing pollutants having a negative impact on the environment. They have no chance of survival without human help. As a result, societies have difficult choices to make about the amount of effort and money they are willing to spend to save imperiled species. Will people accept limits on their property rights, recreational activities, and means of livelihood to save a plant or an animal? TÍNH TỪ & TRẬT TỰ CỦA TÍNH TỪ Adjectives & Oder of adjectives I - ĐỊNH NGHĨA Tính từ là từ chỉ tính chất, đặc điểm của người hoặc vật hay sự việc,.. thường được dùng để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ hoặc đại từ. Ví dụ - It is a good computer. Đó là một cái máy vi tính tốt. - She has black eyes. Cô ấy có đôi mắt màu đen II - PHÂN LOẠI TÍNH TỪ Có nhiều cách phân loại tính từ, dựa vào mục đích sử dụng ta có thể chia tính từ làm hai loại 1. Tính từ miêu tả ý kiến, quan điểm chủ quanopinion Ví dụ - She is very kind. Cô ấy rất tốt bụng - She is an unrealiable person. Cô ấy là một người không đáng tin tưởng. - > Đây là ý kiến, quan điểm của người nói về đối tượng được nói đến. Đây chỉ là ý kiến chủ quan, mỗi người khác nhau sẽ có những nhận xét khác nhau về cùng một đối tượng. 2. Tính từ miêu tả những đặc điểm thực tế factual * Size Kích cỡ big, small, long, short,… Ví dụ - She has a long dress. Cô ấy có một chiếc váy dài. * Age tuổi thọ old, new, young, … - His father looks very young. Bố của cậu ấy trông rất trẻ. * Shape hình dạng round, oval, square,… - She has a round face. Cô ấy có một khuôn mặt tròn. * Color Màu sắc yellow, black, white,… - It is a black wallet. Đó là một chiếc ví màu đen. * Origin Nguồn gốc Japanese, French,… - It is a Japanese bag. III - VỊ TRÍ CỦA TÍNH TỪ TRONG CÂU 1. Tính từ đứng trước danh từ bổ nghĩa cho danh từ adj + N Ví dụ - She is a beautiful girl. Cô ấy là một cô gái xinh đẹp. Ta thấy tính từ “beautiful” được sử dụng trước danh từ “girl”, và bổ nghĩa cho danh từ này. 2. Tính từ đi sau các động từ tình thái be/ get/ seem/ sound/ smell/ taste,.. Ví dụ - It is getting dark. Trời đang tối dần. - It sounds interesting. Điều đó nghe có vẻ thú vị đấy. 3. Tính từ đi sau các đại từ bất định anyone, anything, someone, something,… Ví dụ - Is there anything new? Có điều gì mới không?4. Môt số tính từ chỉ đứng trước danh từ main, only, former, indoor, outdoor,… Ví dụ - This is the main idea of the topic. Đây là ý chính của chủ đề này. Ta KHÔNG nói This idea is main. 5. Một số tính từ chỉ đi sau động từ tình thái afraid, asleep, alone, alive, alone,… Ví dụ She is asleep. Cô ấy đang ngủ. KHÔNG nói She is an asleep person. Đó là một chiếc váy mới dài đẹp. Ta có beautiful là tính từ chỉ ý kiến, nhận xét opinion long là tính từ chỉ kích thước size new là tính từ chỉ tuổi thọ Age - She has bought a square white Japanese cake. Cô ấy mua một chiếc bánh Nhật màu trắng hình vuông. Ta có square là tính từ chỉ hình dạng shape white là tính từ chỉ màu sắc color Japanese là tính từ chỉ nguồn gốc origin + Ta có thể dùng “and” để nối giữa 2 hay nhiều tính từ cùng loại. Ví dụ - It is a black and white television. Đó là một chiếc ti vi đen trắng. Ta thấy “black” và “white” là hai tính từ cùng chỉ màu sắc. + Ta có thể sử dụng “but” để nối giữa hai tính từ thể hiện sự đối lập. Ví dụ - It is a cheap but interesting book. Đó là một cuốn sách rẻ tiền nhưng rất thú vị. + Khi nói về kích thước thì ta sẽ sử dụng tính từ chỉ chiều dài đứng trước tính từ chỉ chiều rộng. Ví dụ - It is a long large road. Đó là một con đường dài rộng. Ta thấy “long” là tính từ chỉ chiều dài và “large” là tính từ chỉ chiều rộng. B. TRẠNG TỪ Adverbs I - ĐỊNH NGHĨA Trạng từ là những từ dùng để bổ nghĩa cho động từ, tính từ hay các trạng từ khác. Ví dụ - She looks very attractive. Cô ấy trông rất quyến rũ. Ta thấy “very” là trạng từ, đứng trước tính từ “attractive” để bổ nghĩa cho tính từ này. - He runs quite quickly. Anh ấy chạy khá nhanh. Ta thấy “quite” và “quickly” đều là trạng từ. Trong đó “quickly” là trạng từ bổ nghĩa cho động từ “run” chạy như thế nào - > chạy nhanh, và “quite” là trạng từ bổ nghĩa cho trạng từ “quickly” nhanh như thế nào - > khá nhanh.II - CÁC LOẠI TRẠNG TỪ Dựa vào mục đích ta chia trạng từ làm 5 loại 1. Trạng từ chỉ cách thức adverbs of manner Chỉ cách thức hành động, hoạt động xảy ra như thế nào như angrily một cách giận dữ, slowly một cách chậm chạp, interestingly một cách thú vị,… Ví dụ - My father looked at me anrily. Bố tôi nhìn tôi một cách giận dữ. Trạng từ “angrily” là trạng từ chỉ cách thức bổ nghĩa cho cụm động từ “looked at me”nhìn tôi như thế nào - > nhìn tôi một cách giận dữ. 2. Trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn adverbs of place Chỉ địa điểm, nơi chốn xảy ra hành động, hoạt động như here ở đây, there ở đó, … Ví dụ - I have lived here for a long time. Tôi sống ở đây lâu rồi. Ta có “here” là trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn, chỉ ra địa điểm xảy ra hoạt động “sống” sống ở đâu - > sống ở đây. 3. Trạng từ chỉ thời gian adverbs of time Chỉ thời gian, thời điểm xảy ra hành động, hoạt động như yesterday, last week, last month, …. Ví dụ - My sister came home late yesterday. Hôm qua, chị tôi về nhà muộn. Ta thấy “hôm qua” là trạng từ chỉ thời gian, chỉ ra thời điểm xảy ra việc “về nhà muộn” Về nhà muộn khi nào - > về nhà muộn hôm qua. 4. Trạng từ chỉ tần suất adverbs of frequency Chỉ tuần suất xảy ra hành động, hoạt động như - always luôn luôn - usually thường thường - often thường - sometimes thỉnh thoảng - seldom hiếm khí - rarely hiếm khi - never không bao giờ… Ví dụ I seldom cook meals. Tôi hiếm khi nấu ăn. Ta thấy trạng từ “seldom” chỉ tần suất của hoạt động “nấu ăn”. 5. Trạng từ chỉ mức độ adverbs of degree Chỉ mức độ xảy ra hành động, hoạt động như - completely/ absolutely hoàn toàn, một cách hoàn chỉnh, - extremely vô cùng.. - very rất - quite khá - fairly tương đối - a little/ a bit một chút - hardly hầu như không Ví dụ - I have finished my work completely. Tôi đã hoàn thành công việc một cách hoàn chỉnh Ta thấy trạng từ “completely” chỉ mức độ hoàn thành công việc là 100%. III - VỊ TRÍ CỦA TRẠNG TỪ TRONG CÂU Trạng từ có thể đứng đầu câu, đứng giữa câu hoặc đứng cuối câu. - Last year I went to HCM city to visit my friends.
